"Reflection on Audience Awarness"

Q#1:

Linda Flower stresses the importance of audience awareness in composing while elbow concludes that the question/issue with audience awareness is when. How would you explain the connections between this two points of view?

R#1:

Linda and Elbow both have a point there one because the importance of the audience being there while something is being composed can have a great impact in the article being since it would have a touch of what was being experienced in just that second letting the emotions just happen. Elbow in the other hand explains that the question or the issue both are related also with the audience since in order to have a connection that would interest the audience and gather their attention they must have an idea of how their going to react to it. The connection between them both is the audience awareness since both of the ideas the linda and the elbow both need the audience.

Q#2

In general what have you learned from Linda Flower's and Peter Elbow's article as a writer and as a reader?

R#2:

I learned that we should always first know to witch kind of audience we are talking to because there are different types of them you may be referring to an audience of teenagers ages 10-16 and if that is the case you wouldn't want to be talking about employments or marriage because its a theme that would not at all catch their attention. I also learned that if the article has a question and answer it must always be connected to he summary we wrote because if its not then it would not have any point. As a reader i learned that i need to have a secure article to read because if i wold want to know about something any theme then they give me any article about it and when i start reading it has nothing to do with what i was wanting to know then there is when the article becomes worthless.

RHETORICAL AWARENESS

Q#1:
You probably are aware of the importance of rhetorical reading thus far,. I would like to know how you would evaluate your use of rhetorical strategies and whether you will have any plans to improve your rhetorical skills and what are the plans?

R#1:

In my concern i have not been applying the rhetorical strategies the way they are supposed

to, in order to help me have a successful article being written. Evaluating my way of doing the

rhetorical reading would not be good because sometimes i forget that i must use some of the

strategies and go in order , and i write only write my opinions forgetting that they must be in

order and have a good way of applying them in a way that it would be good in my side. Having

so much to read about rhetorical reading and doing it in class has given me the impulse to be

better at my writing skills and in the future have a successful article.

Q#2:

You are also expected to have a good understanding about Writer-Based Prose and Reader-Based Prose and the difference between them lies in the use of Rhetorical Strategies . I would like to know how you would differentiate the use of rhetorical strategies in writing (from reading as above) and what would your plans to improve your rhetorical strategies in writing?

R#2:

The Writer-Based Prose is saying what you mean using the rhetorical strategies witch deal

with knowing how to apply them ,one of them is the process of analysis witch explains how to do

something or how it happed by using the writer based prose this can be a really helpful strategy

to use because you are dealing with giving a whole explanation of how something happed. In the

other hand the Reader-Based prose is a fine way to begin writing and to generate ideas making

the rhetorical strategy an easy step to do since you are combining your opinions and strategies

making the article a very comprehensive one to the reader.

QUESTIONS

Q#1:

1. What were your concerns about in an SQR? What would you like the group to consider, respond to, or evaluate in an SQR of yours?
R#1:

My manly concerns were that my peers would actually get the article in a different manner than did since not all the people understand things the same but more than that is that i would not get the main point right and my whole story would go in the wrong direction. It would be a really nice gesture from the group to consider that i prefer to listen to the point of view of others and then give mine since it makes me more confident when i hear the idea or words of others before mine so i could have a clear way of knowing if i was in the right track. In evaluating i know am good at expressing my ideas so it becomes a good option for me when people evaluate my work because i get the idea of what people think of the way i organize my work.

Q#2:

How did you see evaluate the comments you made on your peers papers? Honestly did you think they were really helpful? (its OK if you say no, if that's the case, please state what made you unable to provide specific comments as you wished. It's important for me how carefully you read your peers papers and how did you work on commenting on your friends paper).

R#2

I did actually read the articles that i gave my opinion in i had no idea of what clearly to say but i read it and tried to give not only a supporting comment but a helpful one, one that next time they would start writing they would remember not to do the same mistake or not only mistake but also to consider the grammar and the way the ideas are organized. While i was reading my peers papers i was looking for similarities and difference's but then i realized that i was doing wrong but i started to look for things that could help them do better so they would do the same.
